Mexico Beach Portraits

Shooting family is fun but A. it doesn't pay well and B. my kids hate posing for photos.  We took a family trip down south this past weekend.  In between building sandcastles and looking for seashells, I shot a few photo's of my brother and his family.  Two remote speedlights in softboxes on stands.  That can get tricky when it's windy.

The kids always LOVE it when I ask to shoot them at Sunset.  Not.  Maybe they'll thank me someday.

Group shot with Grandma and Grandpa and grandkids!

My lighting model!  When shooting sunsets, you're constantly changing camera settings.  Light changes quick.  It helps to really know your camera.
